MEET ELISABETH
Here to walk alongside you
Every story is made up of many threads. Some clear, some tangled, some still waiting to be understood.
My role is not to tell you who to become, but to walk alongside you as you discover what healing, growth, and wholeness look like for you.
Why Woven Stories?
We all carry stories
Stories shaped by our experiences, relationships, losses, hopes, fears, and the messages we’ve learned along the way.
Sometimes those stories feel clear and connected. Other times they feel tangled, overwhelming, or difficult to understand.
At Woven Stories Therapy, I believe healing begins when we create space to gently explore those threads, not with judgement, but with curiosity and compassion.
Together, we’ll work to better understand your story, honor where you’ve been, and create room for where you’d like to go.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
My path to this work
Long before I became a therapist, I was someone who deeply valued listening, connection, and understanding the experiences that shape us.
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago and have spent over a decade supporting adults through life’s challenges, transitions, and growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices that honor the whole person.
I became a therapist because I believe every person has the capacity for healing, and because I’ve seen how powerful it can be to have a safe, compassionate space to tell your story.

OUTSIDE OF THE THERAPY ROOM
When I’m not in session, you can often find me spending with my family, playing in nature, reading a good book, or planning adventures.
Prior to becoming a therapist I was a second grade teacher in Houston and a Peace Corps volunteer in Malawi, Africa. These experiences were fundamental to my core understanding that we are all connected through and because of our humanity to others.
